Borghese Gallery small-group tour: an honest review
Verdict: a small group and a guide who lectures. The reviews are unusually specific about that, and if it is what you want, this is where you get it. It is also the most expensive product on this site, for the same two hours inside the building that the cheapest one buys. It draws praise as warm as the flagship’s from a fraction as many people, so it is not the best rated tour on this site and I will not call it that. The numbers behind all of this are below.

That does not make this a worse tour, and it absolutely does not make it a better-rated one. Anywhere you see this product called the best rated Borghese tour, the person writing has sorted a column and stopped reading.
What €109 buys
€109 a head. The ticket on its own is €35 and gets you the same two hours in the same rooms, so you are paying €74 for the group size and the guide. The flagship guided tour is €68 for two and a quarter hours, so this is €41 more for fifteen minutes less. The museum charges €16 plus a €2 obligatory reservation fee, €18 all in. Six times that is what this costs. None of which is an argument against it — it is an argument for knowing precisely what you are buying, which is a smaller group and a longer answer to every question you ask.

Those two reviews are the product. A lecture, delivered slowly, to few people. Read them as a warning as readily as a recommendation: if you want a brisk overview and then lunch, this is the wrong purchase and the express tour is the right one.
